Based in McMinnville, OR, the Director of Architectural Production serves as the strategic leader for our Engineering & Design team. This role exists to bridge the gap between design intent and physical construction, ensuring that our architectural production processes are efficient, compliant, and scalable.
In this position, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of architectural production, from establishing rigorous drawing standards and BIM/CAD workflows to managing the final QA/QC of construction documents. You will act as a key liaison between internal design-build, construction management, and field teams, as well as external clients and engineers. Your day-to-day involves mentoring designers, optimizing technical workflows, and guiding permitting processes across the Pacific Northwest. Ultimately, you will ensure that every project not only meets code requirements but also embodies the high standards of safety and quality that define Blue Heron.
