This position serves as a pivotal leader in managing the delivery of nursing services and ensuring safe, high-quality patient care across the continuum of care. The role is designed to integrate nursing standards of practice with strategic business goals, driving value and operational excellence within the assigned department.
In this capacity, you will oversee 24-hour nursing operations, ensuring that all clinical practices meet rigorous cost, quality, and utilization standards. You will partner with Nursing Leadership to develop strategic plans that enhance integrated services, while simultaneously managing departmental budgets and financial performance to optimize resource allocation. A core part of your mission is to cultivate a culture of safety, holding staff accountable for delivering superior, culturally sensitive care in compliance with the Nursing Practice Act, The Joint Commission (TJC), and all federal, state, and local regulations.
Beyond clinical oversight, you will lead the full spectrum of human resource management, from screening and hiring to training and competency maintenance. You will be responsible for developing and enforcing departmental policies, resolving risk management issues, and participating in Medical Center leadership committees to shape the future of healthcare delivery at the organization.

Previous experience with electronic medical record. Master's degree. National Certification in specialty. NICU and/or Perinatal clinical experience.
