As the Director, HIPAA Compliance, you will serve as an external-facing leader and operational anchor for privacy and Release of Information (ROI) compliance. Reporting to the Chief Privacy Officer, you will set the enterprise risk posture by monitoring emerging state and federal regulations and translating complex legal requirements into actionable policies, SOPs, and training materials.
In this role, you will balance regulatory risk with client experience and operational scalability. You will ensure that compliance considerations are embedded into every stage of the product lifecycle, from implementation and integrations to renewals and expansions. You will act as a senior escalation point for sensitive disclosures and multi-state compliance scenarios, fostering trust with clients, auditors, and regulators while leading a team of experienced professionals.
