The Director, Access Operations leads end-to-end patient access operations across Tryon Medical Partners. This role ensures patients can access the right care at the right time by driving operational performance across all access channels while supporting clinician workflows and preferences.
As a key operational leader, you will partner closely with Access Enablement to operationalize tools, systems, and workflows, ensuring sustainable, high-performing access operations. You will serve as the primary partner to clinical teams, aligning day-to-day execution with organizational priorities while maintaining a strong, visible presence across practices to build relationships and identify barriers.
Your focus will be on owning operational performance and execution for contact centers, referrals, scheduling, and triage-integrated pathways. You will monitor key performance indicators to drive improvements in speed to care, utilization, and patient experience. A significant portion of your time will be spent collaborating with nursing leadership to integrate triage workflows and partnering with clinicians to implement practical solutions that enhance service delivery.
You will also lead the design, testing, and scaling of enhanced access models, such as concierge offerings, while providing full people leadership for your team. This includes hiring, coaching, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Candidates selected for this role will undergo a multi-stage interview process designed to assess operational leadership, clinical partnership capabilities, and cultural fit. The process typically includes an initial screening, followed by in-depth discussions with leadership and potential team members.
