About the Role
We are seeking exceptional individuals with a passion to create a meaningful impact in the lives of the amazing people we support. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a residential setting, assisting adults diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities in becoming self-sufficient and self-actualized.
This is an entry-level career in the healthcare and education fields, perfect for positive, motivated individuals ready to get in on the ground floor. You will help residents achieve and exceed their personal goals by providing structure and emotional support. Your day will involve assisting with personal hygiene needs, helping resolve behavioral issues, and completing detailed, accurate documentation. Additionally, you will transport program participants to and from medical appointments and recreation activities using agency vehicles.

Requirements

Some experience working with the intellectually and developmentally disabled population. Prior experience as a Caregiver, Care Assistant, Personal Assistant, Resident Assistant, Direct Care Worker, Nursing Assistant, Home Care Aide, or Companion.
