We are seeking a Digital Forensic Analyst to support a Department of War customer in analyzing electronic media for a federal government agency. This role is central to sensitive, ongoing criminal investigations and operations. You will examine hard drives, storage devices, cell phones, PDAs, and other electronic devices to uncover evidence admissible in a court of law.
Your day-to-day work involves performing forensic analysis of digital information, gathering and handling evidence, and executing a variety of forensic and electronic discovery services. You will utilize advanced tools to preserve digital evidence, recover deleted or corrupted data, extract emails, and examine databases. A key part of your mission is documenting procedures and findings in a manner suitable for courtroom presentation, preparing comprehensive written reports, and potentially testifying as an expert witness in federal or military court.
This position is fully on-site, Monday through Friday, in the Baltimore-Metropolitan area.
