The Role
This position serves as a vital support pillar for our maintenance operations, bridging the gap between drivers and senior technicians. You will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and safety of our heavy-duty and light-duty fleet, which includes rear load, front load, roll-off, grapple, and porta-potty trucks.
Your day will involve active collaboration with drivers to complete daily post-trip and vehicle safety inspections, identifying visible issues such as light failures, leaks, or body damage. You will perform essential preventative maintenance tasks, including lubrication, fluid top-ups (oil, hydraulic, transmission, DEF), and tire inspections. Working alongside A and B technicians, you will assist in basic repairs for engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems, utilizing factory service manuals to guide your work.
Beyond the hands-on mechanical work, you will maintain a clean and safe shop environment compliant with OSHA standards and manage accurate documentation of parts usage and repair times. This role requires physical stamina to navigate the shop and vehicle cabs frequently, as well as the ability to work in varying weather conditions during road calls.

Requirements
