About the Role
This position serves as a vital support pillar within our maintenance operations, bridging the gap between drivers and technical technicians. You will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and safety of our heavy-duty and light-duty fleet, including gasoline, diesel, and CNG systems. Your day will involve active collaboration with drivers to complete daily post-trip and vehicle safety inspections, identifying visible issues such as leaks, body damage, or equipment malfunctions.
Beyond inspection, you will play a hands-on role in preventative maintenance. This includes conducting safety checks during safety lanes and PMs, performing lubrication on vehicles according to daily schedules, and assisting technicians with basic repairs on components ranging from lights and wipers to engine, transmission, and hydraulic systems. You will also manage essential documentation, recording parts usage and repair times to maintain accurate fleet records. Maintaining a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work environment is a core part of your daily responsibilities.
