About the Role
This position serves as a vital support pillar for our maintenance operations, ensuring our fleet of heavy and light-duty trucks remains safe and operational. You will work alongside drivers and technicians to perform preventative maintenance services, covering gasoline, diesel, and CNG systems. Your role bridges the gap between daily vehicle inspections and complex repairs, helping to minimize future downtime through proactive care and clear communication.
In this role, you will be an active participant in our safety culture, assisting drivers with pre- and post-trip inspections and conducting safety checks during safety lanes and preventative maintenance (PM) sessions. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work area, ensuring that the shop and grounds are organized and ready for daily operations. As part of a collaborative team, you will communicate vehicle issues to technicians and drivers, discussing preventative techniques to enhance vehicle longevity.
