Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssist in the repair and adjustment of heavy trucks and equipment
- check_circlePerform safety checks on vehicles and ensure compliance with safety procedures
- check_circleComplete fleet maintenance paperwork and document parts usage and repair times
- check_circleAssist with service calls for vehicle breakdowns
- check_circleMaintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards
- check_circleConduct preventive maintenance inspections and troubleshoot major vehicle components
- check_circlePerform inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
- check_circleWash vehicles and equipment to maintain operational readiness
Requirements
- verified3-5+ years experience as class A or B mechanic
- verifiedComputer diagnostic experience
- verifiedKnowledge of safety procedures and practices
Nice to Have
Prior experience from waste management industry or heavy equipment/yellow iron dealership experience. Trade school or similar training.
