About the Role
This position serves as a vital support role within our family-oriented company, ensuring the reliability of our fleet of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. You will be the first line of defense in maintaining operational efficiency, primarily focusing on forklifts, diesel tractors, and various haul trailers used in our agricultural logistics network.
Your day will involve a mix of hands-on mechanical work and field travel. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered vehicles, performing routine check-ups and preventive maintenance to keep our equipment running smoothly. The role requires you to troubleshoot faults, replace defective components, and diagnose trailer malfunctions. As part of a mobile team, you will travel regularly to assigned farms, working in diverse outdoor environments that may include inclement weather, dust, heat, and exposure to fumes.
