Diesel Mechanic

About the Role

This position is dedicated to the safe operation, repair, rebuild, and maintenance of company-owned or leased heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment, including rolling stock. The role exists to ensure that all fleet assets remain operational and safe for daily use, supporting the company's core logistics and environmental services mission.

As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing operational difficulties across a diverse fleet, including heavy diesel, CNG, gas, and electrically operated vehicles. Your day-to-day involves utilizing a variety of power and hand tools to perform complex repairs, while also managing the administrative side of maintenance through work orders, parts procurement, and scheduling within the M5 planner system. You will also play a vital role in training new employees and staying current with the latest mechanical technologies through technical manuals and seminars.
