As a Specialist, Roadside Support, you will be the critical link between our drivers and the solutions they need when things go wrong on the road. This role exists to ensure the safety and efficiency of our fleet by triaging over-the-road breakdowns and identifying the safest, most cost-effective resolutions. You will be the first point of contact for drivers facing maintenance issues, requiring you to make quick, safe decisions to facilitate quick repairs and maximize equipment utilization.
In this position, you will manage a high-volume environment where driver needs, safety concerns, and repair demands shift rapidly. Your day will involve receiving and documenting incoming driver-reported issues, securing service for road repairs, and directing drivers to authorized facilities. You will collaborate with vendors, internal partners, and management to resolve complex repair issues, negotiate estimates, and ensure all DOT/FMCSA regulations are followed. Success in this role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, the ability to communicate clearly across multiple mediums, and a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation for our maintenance and warranty teams.
This role is based at USX Headquarters and requires in-person attendance. The position operates on a Wed-Sat schedule from 7:30pm to 6am. Candidates will be evaluated based on their mechanical knowledge, customer service experience, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, after-hours environment.
