About the Role

This position serves as a vital support pillar within our maintenance operations, bridging the gap between drivers and our technical teams. You will be instrumental in ensuring the fleet's readiness by performing preventative maintenance on heavy-duty and light-duty trucks, including gasoline, diesel, and CNG systems. Your day-to-day impact involves collaborating directly with drivers to complete post-trip and vehicle safety inspections, identifying visible issues such as leaks, body damage, or light failures, and assisting with fluid top-ups and tire inspections.

Beyond immediate repairs, you will play a key role in fostering a culture of safety and efficiency. By communicating vehicle issues to A & B technicians and discussing preventative techniques, you help minimize future repairs and downtime. You will also maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area, adhering to corporate and OSHA standards, while documenting all maintenance activities and parts usage with precision. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, from inside the shop to outside in extreme weather conditions, ensuring our fleet remains operational for our customers.
