Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is the nation's largest nonprofit dialysis provider. Since opening our first clinic 50 years ago in Nashville, Tennessee, we have grown to operate more than 270 locations across 30 states, serving nearly 14,000 patients daily. Our mission is rooted in the belief that "the care of the patient is our reason for existence." We are dedicated to a holistic approach, offering hemodialysis, home dialysis, and peritoneal dialysis options to empower patients to live meaningful, productive lives while reducing hospitalizations.
DCI invests heavily in its care teams and funds research to advance kidney care and treatment options. We pride ourselves on a positive, mission-driven culture that prioritizes individualized care. Our clinical settings are designed to be comfortable, featuring a lower caregiver-to-patient ratio than other providers to foster deeper relationships and better outcomes.
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, working alongside registered nurses to deliver prescribed dialysis treatments to patients with end-stage renal disease. This role exists to ensure safe care and the highest quality outcomes for every patient interaction.
You will provide top-notch patient care in a supportive environment, gaining fulfillment by serving individuals in our clinics. The position offers paid training and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients. As a PCT, you will guide new patients through a 120-day education plan, obtain and record vital signs, set up and break down dialysis blood systems, and monitor patients throughout their treatment. You will work under the supervision of an RN, documenting changes and collaborating with the care team to maintain professional standards and patient privacy.
We seek motivated and compassionate individuals to join our family. DCI provides a comprehensive 3-month education program, including classroom sessions and one-on-one skills training with a preceptor. No prior dialysis experience is required; however, job shadow opportunities are available for those interested in learning more before applying. We welcome candidates with backgrounds in CNA, EMT, medical assisting, or phlebotomy, but we also value the desire to learn and collaborate.
To apply, please visit www.dciinc.jobs to find a clinic near you. If you encounter difficulties using the online application system or require accommodations, please contact Doug Patterson at Accommodations@dciinc.org or 615-327-3061. Once a request is made, we will initiate a discussion regarding your needs to ensure we can provide the necessary support.
DCI is committed to building a diverse and inclusive organization. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status. As a federal contractor and an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer, we welcome applications from all qualified individuals.
