Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is the nation's largest nonprofit dialysis provider. Since opening our first clinic 50 years ago in Nashville, Tennessee, we have grown to operate more than 270 locations across 30 states, serving nearly 14,000 patients daily. Our mission is rooted in the belief that "the care of the patient is our reason for existence." We are dedicated to a holistic approach, offering hemodialysis, home dialysis, and peritoneal dialysis options to empower patients to live meaningful, productive lives while reducing hospitalizations.
As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be an integral part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality care to patients with end-stage renal disease. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will support the clinical staff throughout the dialysis treatment process. This role is designed for motivated, compassionate individuals who want to build relationships and find fulfillment in a comfortable clinical setting with a lower caregiver-to-patient ratio than other providers.
In this position, you will guide new patients through a comprehensive 120-day education plan and actively participate in infection control and patient education activities. Your day-to-day responsibilities include obtaining and recording vital signs, setting up and breaking down dialysis blood systems, and monitoring patients during treatment. You will serve as a vital link in ensuring prescribed treatments are delivered effectively, documenting changes and collaborating with the charge nurse to maintain the highest standards of care.
We invest in our care teams and fund research to further kidney care and treatment options. DCI offers a positive, mission-driven culture where you can receive paid training and competitive pay. We prioritize work-life balance, offering Sundays off and a supportive environment. Our comprehensive 3-month education program includes classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills training to ensure you are fully prepared to succeed.
