Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is the nation's largest nonprofit dialysis provider. Since opening our first clinic in Nashville, Tennessee, 50 years ago, we have grown to over 270 locations across 30 states, serving nearly 14,000 patients daily. Our mission is rooted in the belief that "the care of the patient is our reason for existence." We are dedicated to a holistic approach, offering hemodialysis, home dialysis, and peritoneal dialysis options to empower patients to live meaningful, productive lives while reducing hospitalizations.
We invest deeply in our care teams and fund research to advance kidney care. Our culture is defined by compassion, mission-driven work, and a commitment to individualized care. We offer a comfortable clinical setting with a lower caregiver-to-patient ratio than other providers, allowing our teams to build genuine relationships with the individuals we serve.
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to ensure safe care and high-quality outcomes for patients with end-stage renal disease. This role is designed for motivated, compassionate individuals who want to provide top-notch patient care in a supportive environment.
In this position, you will guide new patients through a 120-day education plan and actively participate in infection control and patient education activities. Your day-to-day responsibilities include obtaining and recording vital signs, setting up and breaking down dialysis blood systems, and monitoring patients during treatment. You will insert and remove access needles, calculate weight loss to reach dry weight, and document any changes in patient status. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain fulfillment serving individuals in a mission-driven culture where paid training and a positive work environment are prioritized.
DCI is committed to making our hiring process accessible and supportive. We offer job shadow opportunities for those interested in learning more about the role before applying.
