Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssist radiologists and sonographers with patient imaging studies and drop-off appointments
- check_circleTransport patients between requesting departments and the diagnostic imaging area
- check_circleRestrain and position patients for ultrasound procedures
- check_circlePerform IV injections, IM injections, and IV catheter placement
- check_circleObtain quality diagnostic radiographs using proper positioning and exposure settings
- check_circleAssist with treatments and care for hospitalized patients as needed
- check_circleObtain and monitor patient vitals including heart rate, blood pressure, and temperature
- check_circleDisinfect all equipment after each patient and maintain department cleanliness
- check_circleCalculate, prepare, and monitor sedation drugs to ensure patient safety
- check_circleOperate, start up, shut down, and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment safely
- check_circleSupport telemedicine clinics by submitting imaging consults
- check_circleEnter imaging data, invoices, and reports into medical record and management systems
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School diploma required
- verifiedAssociate's degree preferred
- verified1-2 years of veterinary experience
- verifiedLicensed Veterinary Technician preferred
- verifiedFluent English skills (speaking & reading) required
Nice to Have
Associate's degree (A. A.), Licensed Veterinary Technician status, fluency in multiple languages.
