Maximus Technology and Consulting Services (TCS) operates at the intersection of advanced technology and critical national security. Our team is dedicated to securing complex cloud environments and ensuring the reliability of mission-critical systems for the United States Air Force. We leverage cutting-edge DevSecOps practices to build resilient infrastructure that protects sensitive data while enabling rapid, secure deployment.
As a DevSecOps Engineer within our internal team, you will serve as a guardian of our security posture and operational efficiency. This role exists to bridge the gap between development, security, and operations, ensuring that automation and security controls are seamlessly integrated into every stage of the software lifecycle. You will not only manage incident response and vulnerability scanning but also drive the cultural shift toward automated security frameworks.
Your day-to-day involves designing and implementing solutions for network security, managing access controls, and conducting risk assessments on proxy servers and firewalls. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to replace manual processes with robust, script-driven automation, utilizing tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and Terraform. From performing penetration testing to maintaining comprehensive runbooks, your work ensures that our systems remain compliant, secure, and resilient against evolving threats.
Candidates selected for this role will undergo a rigorous vetting process commensurate with the sensitive nature of the work. This includes a thorough review of qualifications, followed by interviews focused on technical expertise in cloud security, automation, and DevOps methodologies. Successful candidates must be prepared to demonstrate their ability to handle high-stakes security challenges and collaborate effectively within a government-contracted environment.
