About the Role

This position serves as a vital bridge between the property sales team and the broader sales channels, dedicated to securing group business for the hotel. The role exists to ensure that every group opportunity is not only captured but maximized through strategic up-selling and the delivery of a curated, high-quality site inspection experience. By partnering with key department heads and the General Manager, you will drive revenue goal attainment while embodying the brand's service strategy to foster lasting customer loyalty.

Day in the Life

Your day will be a dynamic blend of proactive sales, detailed coordination, and exceptional hospitality. You will work closely with the sales team and account managers to identify new group and catering business opportunities, ensuring the property meets its revenue targets. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to executing site inspections and Familiarization (FAM) tours, where you will act as a personal concierge to clients, escorting them through the property and surrounding areas.

Beyond the sales floor, you will engage in community-based organizations to position the hotel for future opportunities. You will coordinate transportation, manage special requests, and ensure that amenities and welcome notes are delivered with precision. Whether greeting walk-in clients, entertaining overnight guests, or representing the sales department in staff meetings, your goal is to create a seamless experience that differentiates the hotel from competitors and exceeds customer expectations.

Hiring Process

Candidates with a high school diploma or GED and four years of experience in sales, marketing, guest services, or front desk operations are encouraged to apply. Alternatively, those with a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Hotel and Restaurant Management with two years of relevant experience are welcome to submit their applications. Experience in large group sales is considered a plus.
