The Desktop Administrator II serves as a vital link in maintaining and managing our distributed desktop and laptop systems and software. This role is essential for ensuring seamless operations across our global network, including liaising with teams in the United States and India. You will be the face of our IT support, creating a positive team experience while assisting users with questions, problems, and training needs.
In this position, you will not only install, configure, and troubleshoot server applications and desktop hardware but also drive efficiency through process automation. You will work in a dynamic, French-speaking corporate environment where bilingual proficiency in French and English is required to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues. Your work directly impacts our ability to deliver value by ensuring our systems are secure, compliant, and running at peak performance.
We are looking for candidates who are ready to contribute immediately. This role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to travel independently up to 20% of the time. The ideal candidate will have a high-school diploma or GED, along with two to four years of related desktop administration experience. While certifications in User Operating Systems, Microsoft Exchange, and Active Directory are preferred, a strong foundation in systems administration tools and scripting is essential.
