The AI Architect serves as a strategic leader responsible for designing and delivering production-ready AI solutions that drive enterprise-wide impact within the K12 education sector. This role goes beyond technical execution; it involves managing a small team of AI Engineers and orchestrating cross-functional collaboration with UX, front-end, and subject matter experts to create innovative solutions. The position is pivotal in bridging the gap between advanced machine learning capabilities and actionable business decisions, ensuring that AI initiatives directly support the mission of improving outcomes for schools and students.
In this capacity, you will guide the full lifecycle of AI products, from initial proof-of-concept through to full productization. This includes overseeing data ingestion, model training, deployment, and continuous monitoring for performance drift. You will set priorities for a collaborative technical team, mentor members in technical development, and ensure all deliverables adhere to rigorous standards for governance, compliance, and student data privacy. The role requires a deep passion for education and the ability to motivate others to share that vision while navigating the complexities of the EdTech landscape.
