Key Responsibilities
- check_circleLead the design of major components, subsystems, and functional prototypes using CAD and simulation tools
- check_circleDevelop or improve products and manufacturing processes to optimize cost, quality, and performance
- check_circleManage new product development projects from concept through production
- check_circleDesign and test metallic, composite, and non-metallic structures for engineering applications
- check_circlePrepare and present design-for-manufacturing reviews to manufacturing and supply chain teams
- check_circleDevelop and execute test plans to ensure designs meet performance and quality requirements
- check_circleMentor and train less-experienced engineers on problem-solving and project execution
- check_circleGenerate detailed engineering layouts, sketches, and documentation for design proposals
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with 5+ years of experience or additional experience in lieu of degree
- verifiedExperience with firearm design, metal casting, composite, or plastic injection-molded components
- verifiedExpertise in system, tooling, and fixture design for precision products
- verifiedSolidWorks CAD software proficiency
