About the Role
This position serves as a pivotal engineering leader responsible for driving complex product development and system design initiatives. The role exists to bridge the gap between conceptual specifications and manufacturable reality, ensuring that new products and system improvements meet rigorous milestones while optimizing for cost, quality, and manufacturability.
In this capacity, you will not only design and refine products but also direct third-party engineering support and review the work of associate and design engineers. The position requires a deep understanding of tradeoffs to solve complex problems, translating high-level specifications into precise manufacturing requirements. You will be instrumental in creating robust test plans and protocols, verifying that designs meet specifications through comprehensive product qualification testing, and ensuring reliability in low-voltage packaged solid-state starters and VFDs.
