About the Role
The Second Shift Senior Supplier Quality Incoming Technician is a critical liaison between suppliers and internal organizational departments, ensuring the highest quality standards for high-voltage switchgears and instrument transformers. This role goes beyond basic inspection; it involves acting as a technical expert who resolves complex problems involving supplied goods and provides advanced support to other quality technicians and manufacturing departments.
You will be the first line of defense in our quality assurance process, inspecting complex fabricated parts, equipment, and assemblies using precision tools. Your work directly impacts the reliability of the grid by verifying that every component meets rigorous engineering drawings and technical specifications before it enters production. As a senior technician, you will also mentor peers, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with purchasing and engineering teams to resolve non-conformances and initiate necessary design changes.
