Dental Lab Manager

About the Role

The Manager serves as a vital bridge between technical excellence and team leadership within the laboratory. This position combines hands-on expertise in denture fabrication with supervisory duties, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for the on-site technical training and development of all laboratory technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill mastery.

As a key member of the ACI Laboratory Network, you will implement new products and technologies while maintaining regular communication with the Regional Manager of Laboratory Excellence and other ACI leadership. While adhering to established procedures, you will exercise a high degree of judgment on a patient-by-patient basis, consulting with the Chief Clinical Officer and the broader team to deliver optimal outcomes.

Day in the Life

Your expertise will be central to the lab's workflow, covering all aspects of denture fabrication including setting teeth, wax-ups, festooning, carving, finishing, repairs, and model trimming. Beyond technical execution, you will lead by example, cross-training team members across all lab areas to ensure versatility and resilience within the group. You will also ensure strict adherence to OSHA protocols, maintaining a safe and compliant environment for all staff.

Hiring Process

Familiarity with dental office procedures and a strong background in full-arch hybrid restorations, complete dentures, and implant-based techniques are essential.
