The U.S. Navy is launching a unique, limited-time pilot program to integrate civilian Dental Hygienists directly into the fleet as Hospital Corpsmen specializing in Dental Hygiene (HM/DH). This initiative is designed to fast-track advancement for qualified professionals, allowing you to provide comprehensive clinical care to Sailors, Marines, and their families while supporting the oral health and readiness of our nation's forces.
You will serve as a vital member of a mission-driven team, delivering preventive and therapeutic dental care in diverse environments ranging from state-of-the-art shore-based hospitals to afloat facilities aboard aircraft carriers and hospital ships. Unlike private practice, this role offers a team-based clinical environment focused on patient readiness rather than production pressures. Your day-to-day will involve a dynamic mix of periodontal therapy, radiography, and patient education, with the opportunity to support humanitarian missions and operational deployments worldwide.
