At Tend, we are redefining what it means to grow a career in dentistry. Our mission is to deliver the highest standard of care anywhere by combining science with hospitality. We are building a modern, patient-first environment where clinical excellence meets a warm, empowering experience. Our studios are thoughtfully designed and backed by cutting-edge tools, creating a space where both patients and teams feel respected, represented, and truly cared for.
We value science over sales and lead with empathy, transparency, and integrity. There are no production quotas here—just a shared commitment to doing what's right for our patients. We foster a collaborative, inclusive culture where team members go the extra mile for each other and for every patient who walks through our doors.
As a Dental Hygienist at Tend, you will deliver top-tier preventive care in a modern studio with the support of a dedicated dental assistant through our Team (Assisted) Hygiene model. This role is built for driven hygienists who value autonomy, crave efficiency, and take pride in high-performance care. You will treat a well-booked schedule of patients, utilizing advanced systems and tools to ensure clinical excellence and outstanding patient experiences.
In this position, you will partner closely with dentists to identify treatment plans and collaborate with a dedicated assistant to optimize your schedule, manage sterilization, and support patient documentation. Your day will involve driving hygiene production by maximizing chair time and recommending preventive care, all while maintaining strong relationships with patients through clear communication and personalized education. You will engage in ongoing professional development through CE opportunities and peer collaboration, ensuring you stay at the forefront of the industry.
We are committed to a transparent hiring process that respects your time and expertise. While specific steps may vary by location, our process generally includes an initial conversation to discuss your background and fit, followed by a clinical evaluation to assess your skills and alignment with our standards. We prioritize finding the right cultural and clinical match before moving to an offer.
Our values are not just words on a wall—they are how we hire, lead, and grow. We embody the following principles:
Tend is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to fostering a workplace where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any other protected status in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
