About the Role
As a Delivery Specialist, you will be the face of our service on the road, maintaining and operating store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. Beyond transportation, you will handle critical logistics tasks such as collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and managing customer returns.
Your day involves ensuring vehicles are clean, maintained, and inspected prior to operation. You will utilize fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. While your primary focus is driving and delivery, you will also serve as a vital link between the customer and the store, communicating special needs or issues to management. When business dictates, you may assist customers, serve as a cashier, or help with merchandising and stocking tasks.
