About the Role

FedEx is seeking dedicated Delivery Drivers to safely operate delivery vehicles and deliver packages to residential and commercial customers on assigned routes. This position is designed for individuals who can work independently throughout the day while representing the company with a professional appearance. The role involves managing daily delivery quotas and maintaining strict adherence to delivery schedules.

Day in the Life

As a FedEx Delivery Driver, your day begins with loading packages into delivery vehicles and following assigned routes. You will deliver packages to homes and businesses, obtaining signatures when required and businesses, utilizing handheld scanners to track and confirm each delivery and confirm completion. Communication with dispatch is essential to keep them updated on route progress.

Safety and compliance are central to the role. Drivers must strictly follow company safety policies, delivery procedures, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations when applicable. Additionally, drivers are responsible for performing vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and reliability of the delivery vehicle.
