SameDay City Courier/Delivery Driver

About the Role

FedEx is seeking dedicated Delivery Drivers to safely operate delivery vehicles and deliver packages to residential and commercial customers on assigned routes. This position is designed for individuals who can work independently throughout the day while representing the company with a professional appearance.

Day in the Life

As a FedEx Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for loading packages into delivery vehicles and following assigned delivery routes to ensure timely drop-offs at homes and businesses. You will use handheld scanners to track and confirm deliveries, obtaining signatures when required. Throughout the day, you will communicate with dispatch regarding route progress and meet daily delivery quotas while maintaining strict delivery schedules.

Safety and Compliance

Safety is a core priority. Drivers must follow company safety policies, delivery procedures, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations when applicable. This includes performing vehicle inspections before and during shifts to ensure all equipment is in safe working order.
