SameDay City Courier/Delivery Driver

About the Role

FedEx is seeking dedicated Delivery Drivers to safely operate delivery vehicles and bring packages to residential and commercial customers across communities. In this role, you will be the face of the company, ensuring timely and professional delivery of packages to homes and businesses on to businesses. You will work independently throughout the day, following assigned routes and maintaining a professional appearance that represents the FedEx brand.

Day in the Life

Your day begins with loading packages into your delivery vehicle and performing necessary vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance. You will then follow your assigned delivery route, utilizing handheld scanners to track and confirm each package and obtain signatures where required. Throughout the day, you will communicate with dispatch regarding route progress and meet daily delivery quotas while adhering to company safety policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
