SameDay City Courier/Delivery Driver

About the Role

FedEx is seeking dedicated Delivery Drivers to safely operate delivery vehicles and bring packages to residential and commercial customers. This role is essential to our mission of delivering excellence, as drivers are the face of the company, representing FedEx professionalism and reliability every day on the road.

Day in the Life

As a FedEx Delivery Driver, you will work independently throughout the day, managing assigned routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Your day involves loading packages into delivery vehicles, navigating assigned routes, and delivering packages to homes and businesses. You will use handheld scanners to track and confirm deliveries, and obtain signatures when required, ensuring every package reaches its destination safely.

Communication is key to success in this role. You will maintain contact with dispatch to provide updates on route progress and handle any logistical challenges that arise. Additionally, you will perform vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
