About the Role

Day in the Life

As a FedEx Delivery Driver, your day begins with preparing for the route ahead. You will be responsible for loading packages into delivery vehicles, ensuring they are secure and organized for efficient delivery. Once on the road, you will follow assigned routes, navigating to various locations to deliver packages to homes and businesses.

A key part of your day involves using handheld scanners to track and confirm each delivery. You will obtain signatures when required, ensuring that every package reaches its intended recipient. Throughout the day, you will communicate with dispatch to provide updates on route progress and handle any logistical changes. At the end of each day, you will perform vehicle inspections to ensure the delivery vehicle is safe and ready for the next shift.
