Delivery Driver

Position Purpose

Food and food service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only ensure that customers' products arrive at their destination on time and in good condition, but they also serve as the face of our company, building lasting relationships with our clients.

As a CDL-A Driver, you will operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop routes. Your mission is to deliver and unload food and food-related products safely and timely, strictly adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

About the Team

Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. Our team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and other experts builds close relationships with customers by providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies. The Performance team delivers delicious food but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.

Hiring Process & Application

To join our team, candidates must meet all state licensing and certification requirements, possess a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past three years, and pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check. Successful applicants will also need to pass a road test and obtain a valid DOT Health Card.

Note: A $10,000 Sign-on Bonus is available for eligible new hires. Any person who has worked for a Performance Food Group (PFG) owned company within the last 6 months is not eligible to receive this incentive.
