This position serves as a primary leader dedicated to creating an uplifting and friendly customer experience through exceptional service. Beyond direct customer interaction, the role is pivotal in cultivating a positive team culture by interviewing, training, evaluating performance, rewarding, and coaching associates. Day in the Life

You will establish an uplifting work environment where associates feel valued, appreciated, and engaged. A significant portion of your day involves empowering your team to create a simple, fresh, and inspired shopping experience for every customer. You will prioritize and plan work activities efficiently, identifying and resolving problems by gathering information and developing alternate solutions.

Your responsibilities include communicating departmental and job-specific information to associates, ensuring new hires are properly oriented, and managing the scheduling of Deli associates to meet customer demand. You will provide actionable feedback to help teams grow, clearly communicate store priorities, and recognize progress toward goals. Additionally, you will support the Customer 1st team, manage conflict in a cooperative manner, and ensure adherence to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
