The Data Scientist role is designed to utilize expertise in discovering and analyzing complex data sets and sources to derive actionable insights. This position sits at the intersection of advanced statistical methods, machine learning, and data visualization to inform high-quality analytic decisions.
In this role, you will transform raw data into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products. You will proactively retrieve data from various sources to build a deeper understanding of the landscape, utilizing major data science languages like R and Python to manage and merge disparate data sources. A key part of your mission involves building and utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) tools to automate processes for greater efficiency and constructing high-quality prediction systems.
You will work collaboratively with users and stakeholders, adapting to changing situations to prioritize tasks effectively. Your work will support all-source intelligence analysis and production by creating repeatable, widely applicable procedures using visual analytic modeling tools and relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
