About the Role
As a Data Scientist, you will be at the forefront of transforming complex data into actionable intelligence. This role exists to enable more informed analytic decisions by correlating data into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products. You will proactively retrieve information from various sources to gain a deeper understanding of datasets and build AI tools that automate critical processes.
In this position, you will conduct a wide range of activities including data analytics, engineering, mining, exploratory analysis, and predictive modeling. You will apply scientific techniques to create ML-based tools such as recommendation engines or automated lead scoring systems. Your work will involve performing statistical analysis, applying data mining techniques, and building high-quality prediction systems. You will be expected to utilize data visualization tools and major data science languages to manage and merge disparate data sources, with a specific emphasis on large data Multi-INT analytics and automated predictive analytics.

Requirements
- verifiedMA/MS in STEM with 5 years experience OR BA/BS in STEM with 10 years experience
- verifiedTS/SCI clearance
- verifiedGeospatial scientific principles and tools
- verifiedLogistic regression, NLP, clustering, neural networks, deep learning
- verifiedSQL and scripting languages (Python, R, Julia)
- verifiedAgile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
Nice to Have
Experience working with IT, business, or operational metrics platforms (e.g., Splunk, Elastic, Confluence, etc.). Certification in AWS (AI/ML specialty). Knowledge of the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) tasking, collection, processing, exploitation and dissemination (TCPED) production chain. Experience working within a DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) operational environment and with DoD/IC geospatial data repositories. Familiarity with Army, DoD or IC GEOINT or Geospatial processes, policy and programs. Experience with Microsoft Office tools to deliver reports, graphics and briefings.
