About Terrestrial Energy

Terrestrial Energy is a US developer of advanced, Generation IV nuclear reactors. We are growing our workforce to develop and deploy our Integral Molten Salt Reactor (IMSR) small modular nuclear plant, aiming to provide cost-competitive, clean firm heat and power to industry.

The Company has recently completed a merger creating a publicly listed operating company (NASDAQ "IMSR") to secure the capital resources for our next growth phase. With the current alignment of US Federal and State government, as well as industry interest in Small Modular Reactor (SMR) and advanced reactor technologies, there is a unique and compelling opportunity to participate in the execution of the company's growth business plan.

We are building a team of high-performing business professionals and leaders in engineering, R&D, product management, and business development at our Charlotte, North Carolina headquarters and future project sites. We are looking for talented individuals who can help build the organization, processes, and goal-oriented corporate culture to lead the company in our expansion. We seek people who bring US market experience, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of advanced reactor development requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • check_circlePartner with engineering teams to design simulation campaigns and uncertainty quantification studies
  • check_circleProduce dashboards and technical memoranda to translate analysis into engineering decisions
  • check_circleContribute to building internal forecasting and planning tools with software development teams
  • check_circleDefine data quality, versioning, and validation practices for regulated environments
  • check_circleDevelop reproducible data pipelines integrating MBSE, PLM, ERP, and simulation systems
  • check_circleBuild and maintain analytical models for workforce, schedule, supply-chain, and risk forecasting

Requirements

  • verifiedMaster's or PhD in a quantitative field or bachelor's with equivalent experience

Nice to Have

Experience in nuclear, aerospace, oil and gas, utilities, or another regulated engineering domain. Familiarity with reactor physics codes, thermal-hydraulic codes, or finite-element output formats. Experience with PLM or SPDM systems such as Teamcenter, 3DEXPERIENCE, or ModelCenter. Exposure to MLOps tooling and reproducible-research practices.
