About the Team
Maximus has supported the Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) as the state's enrollment broker since 2007. Our mission is to help eligible Indiana residents understand their health coverage options, provide guidance on selecting a managed care health plan, and assign health plans for members who do not make a selection. The program is centered on delivering unbiased, member-focused support, ensuring individuals receive clear, accurate information to make informed decisions that best meet their healthcare needs.
About the Role
As a Data Science Manager, you will support the Indiana Eligibility Control Center by driving data-informed decision-making across the program. You will oversee the ongoing developments and operations of a high-performing Data Science, Reporting, and Business Analysis team, providing vision, guidance, and mentorship to staff. Your focus will be on establishing a vision for the productization of data science artifacts and delivering Data Science as a Service.
In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between project operational groups and client stakeholders, driving cross-functional alignment and elevating transparency. You will work closely with reporting and business analysts to interpret and translate various datasets into compelling stories for business partners and senior leadership. Your day-to-day involves compiling and evaluating data to improve operational processes, assisting with special projects and trend analysis, and performing deep dives to resolve issues related to staffing, workforce management, or operational efficiency.
Work Environment
This is a remote role, allowing you to contribute to the IHCP program from anywhere while maintaining close collaboration with the team and stakeholders.
