JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract (J-Tech II). The company develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments, preparing the nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
As a Data Processing Specialist, you will serve as a critical link in the flight testing lifecycle, performing day-to-day post-test processing operations under general supervision. You will work within an Integrated Test Team comprised of Air Force personnel, JT4 staff, and prime contractors to ensure mission support needs are met.
Your day will involve running pre-built data tools to load and reduce data from flight test aircraft, followed by rigorous validation and quality control of the resulting data sets. You will collaborate closely with Special Instrumentation, Engineering, and Program Management teams to troubleshoot data issues as they arise. Beyond technical processing, you will manage the lifecycle of instrumentation media kits, ensuring all data products are properly logged, inventoried, and secured in compliance with strict local security requirements regarding handling, transfer, shipping, and disposal.
This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a deadline-driven environment and possess a strong eagerness to learn. You will be expected to maintain a positive, professional image and respond promptly to customer inquiries while assisting in the development of processing specifications, manuals, and process flow diagrams.
Candidates selected for this position must be able to obtain a CompTIA Security+ Certification within six months and maintain a valid, state-issued driver's license. Successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. Please note that this tasking is in support of a Federal Government Contract that strictly requires U.S. citizenship.
JT4 is committed to maintaining a professional environment where employees understand and implement general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements. We value a great attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team supporting national defense missions.
