We are seeking a mid-level Data Management & Governance Analyst to support our Talent (HR/People) data management and governance efforts. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business needs and technical execution, utilizing a variety of techniques and tools to manage, govern, and analyze critical HR information.
Your primary mission is to assist in documenting our Talent data definitions and building out our data catalog. You will work directly with Data Owners, Stewards, and Technical Owners to ensure that HR data is accurately defined, properly classified, and effectively monitored for quality. This position is critical for maintaining the integrity of our employment records and ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements.

We are looking for a candidate with demonstrated experience in HRIS/HCM design, configuration, and data management, with a preference for Workday expertise. You should possess strong technical and communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams.
This is a remote contractor position. Please note that we are only able to engage candidates on a W2 basis; C2C arrangements and visa transfers are not possible.

Experience with Workday. General understanding of HR data risk and compliance principles. Intermediate SQL knowledge, Workday reporting, and AI-assisted coding skills (e.g., Claude Code, CoWork). Familiarity with data tools such as Informatica, Allation, Collibra, or Information Analyzer/IGC, data/information architecture, and governance experience of AI/ML considerations.
