This position involves leading teams in hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repair, and includes participation in an on-call rotation. The successful candidate will be operationally responsible for a Data Center, ensuring overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels. You will work in an environment that operates 24/7, specifically on a night shift schedule that is subject to adjustment to meet operational demands.
In this role, you will manage the performance of diverse teams of data center operation professionals across different locations. You will prioritize and assign trouble tickets, manage large-scale events and outages as the call leader, and act as a subject matter expert across all aspects of data center operations. Beyond daily operations, you will create documentation, innovate solutions, participate in site-level project work, and fix complex problems within the Data Center space. You will also develop career paths for employees, recruit and train technicians, and recommend policies to meet industry best practices and required SLAs.
