As a Data Analyst III, you will serve as a domain expert in supply chain solutions, bridging the gap between complex data and actionable business strategy. This position is designed for a professional who thrives on pushing the envelope of what is possible within the big data space. You will work as a key user on Ryder's Azure Data Lake, driving analytics initiatives that transform raw data into crisp, user-friendly Power BI experiences.
Your primary mission is to deliver final business solutions to the operations team by designing critical analytical dashboards, reports, and queries. You will dig deep into the core issues of business problems to identify descriptive and prescriptive solutions for internal Ryder teams and external customers. By collaborating with Data Analysts and Scientists, you will help guide entrepreneurial innovation, elevating analytics beyond simple reporting to the delivery of high-impact insights.
You will engage directly with stakeholders in information technology, purchasing, and operations to understand their needs and prioritize product efforts. Your work involves developing dashboards that interpret integrated data into usable visualizations, ensuring that results are not just seen but utilized to drive decisions. You will challenge the status quo by curating new data sources and experimenting with live data streaming in a data sandbox. Additionally, you will play a mentorship role, helping more junior team members achieve success while enhancing data maturity and integration across the organization.

Supply Chain knowledge, Automotive Industry experience, Database Design, Project Management, Statistics, Python or R programming, Machine learning, Experience with ETL and data analysis software (Alteryx, Knime), Previous experience with supply chain optimization and simulation software (Optilogic or similar software packages), Object oriented development stacks (.net), Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, MBA or equivalent, 4 years or more in works in an individual contributor role as a key member of the team that others rely on.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics or equivalent, Required; Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, MBA or equivalent, Preferred.
