About the Role
This Data Analyst position is a 13-month, on-site opportunity based in Raleigh, NC, focused on supporting a critical transparency program within the Healthcare and Medicaid domain. The role exists to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of complex data regarding manufacturer price increases and new drug submissions. You will serve as a key bridge between raw data and actionable insights, enabling program operations, policy analysis, and external reporting.
In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of data ingestion, cleaning, and validation for sensitive pharmaceutical pricing information. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards that serve both a public transparency portal and internal oversight teams. You will analyze trends in drug pricing and cost drivers to support strategic decision-making while strictly adhering to data governance standards, including HIPAA and trade secret protections.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with IT, Legal, and program teams to optimize data pipelines and workflows. You will be responsible for maintaining version-controlled metric dictionaries and ensuring all reporting meets state and federal regulatory requirements. This position requires a professional who can balance technical precision with the ability to communicate complex data findings to leadership and external stakeholders.
