About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance and Painting Specialist to join our team in Dakota City. In this role, you will be the guardian of our facility's appearance and functionality, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and safely. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from preparing surfaces and applying paint to maintaining inventory and performing routine cleaning. Your work will directly impact the professional look of key areas including the Harvest floor, rendering areas, plant areas, and the outside parking lot.
This position requires a hands-on approach in a dynamic environment. You will work in varying temperatures, adapting to both hot and cold conditions as required by different areas of the facility. Success in this role depends on your ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team, ensuring accurate completion of all job-related paperwork and work orders.

Important Requirements:
- You must have a minimum of 1 year of documented mechanic work experience in your work history OR be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program. This can be a combination of employers as long as the total experience is at least 1 year.
- Hourly applicants must complete a specific task after submitting their application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.
- Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson are subject to a rehire waiting period of 180 days and a 3-time employment limit for this location.
- Certain roles require background checks; additional documentation will be provided if an offer is extended.
