About the Role
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support mission-critical operations within classified Department of Defense (DoD) environments. In this capacity, you will serve as a strategic partner to project teams, providing the technical guidance necessary to evolve how security is engineered and maintained for the U.S. Space Force.
As a recognized leader in the field, your day-to-day involves leading research, design, and development efforts to meet complex program requirements. You will oversee the technical execution of major initiatives, ensuring they align with performance, schedule, and budget objectives while mitigating risks to program execution. This role requires you to act as a bridge between technical execution and strategic decision-making, conducting studies and data analysis to support high-level stakeholders. You will ensure that all security solutions are compatible with existing systems and properly coordinated through configuration management processes, maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of classified networks.
