The 557th Wing requires Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support to accomplish critical IT analytical, security, Information Assurance (IA), and clerical functions. This role is essential for planning, defining, and implementing the operational management of the STIG compliance roadmap. The team will monitor and research emerging changes to STIGs, presenting the Government with alternative solutions to ensure continued compliance.
Beyond compliance, the position involves applying an operational focus to STIG implementation and assisting in the development and management of the overall Wing IT security program. The role integrates threat hunting and risk analysis into both new and current 557 WW systems and processes. Additionally, the team will assist in completing Risk Management Framework (RMF) steps for Wing systems and plan cybersecurity implementations for systems transitioning to a cloud environment.
