We are seeking a Senior Technician (Cyber Security) to serve as a primary point of contact for endpoint security management, firewall and network monitoring, and vulnerability scan operations. This role is critical for maintaining the ongoing confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Agency systems and services.
You will operate within a high-security environment, focusing on cyber security awareness, compliance, accreditation support, and incident response. The position involves executing routine operational procedures, managing access controls, and supporting the investigation of suspected attacks and security breaches. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to risk identification, define secure system configurations, and assist senior colleagues in analyzing critical IT security policy issues.
This position supports the broader mission of safeguarding information systems against evolving threats. You will work closely with senior colleagues to ensure the implementation of IT security policies and standards across the region. The role requires a balance of independent problem-solving and collaboration to resolve technical issues, perform risk assessments, and maintain the integrity of security records.

Security Clearance: A currently active NATO SECRET security clearance is mandatory.
Candidates must possess a secondary educational qualification with at least 4 years of post-related experience, including practical experience in implementing and maintaining cyber security systems within a large organization. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
The role includes business travel to NATO and national facilities (both NATO and non-NATO), as well as travel between NCIA offices.
