This role sits within the Technology and Consulting Services (TCS) group, where the team ensures the security and operational readiness of critical government systems. The work is dynamic, requiring collaboration with engineering and operations teams to maintain a robust security posture in support of DoD objectives.

About the Role

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be the guardian of JCC2 operational systems, implementing and maintaining essential cybersecurity controls. Your day-to-day involves conducting risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and threat analysis to proactively identify and mitigate system vulnerabilities. You will play a key role in the incident response lifecycle, investigating security events, developing remediation actions, and supporting recovery activities.

Beyond technical execution, you will ensure strict compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and security standards. You will also support system accreditation and security assessment activities, while participating in Agile program increment planning. This position requires a high level of accountability and the ability to thrive in an onsite environment in San Antonio, TX.
